Another working week is drawing to a close

It has been a very warm week in the office this week, helped only by supplies of ice-creams from the Co-Op down the road. Here is quite an interesting article about what I hope to be eating later this afternoon, as long as our regular van shows up.

We've been going for some nice evening walks lately, last night we made it all the way into town where the funfair (aka chav central) is here for the Worthing summer festival. Worthing is doing quite well actually, the pier has been voted Pier of the Year. Ignore the fact that it seems that each pier can win only once, there are only a limited number of piers in the country, and all the big ones have already won...

Tonight we are re-joining the festival to watch our Council Tax payments literally go up in smoke at the summer firework display. Unfortunately we'll miss the rest of the festival as we're off to Warwick tomorrow to look at wedding venues. Wish us luck!
