Our Weekend

We had a very busy day on Saturday. We were up early to take the car for its service in Horsham. Then we went to visit Mum and Dad and showed them our impressive wedding brochure collection. We went over to South Lodge to have a Wedding Tour. It's lovely but it's all booked up for next year, although it's given us a standard to work towards! Then we had a nice lunch in the garden before heading over to Crawley to watch Superman Returns. It wasn't bad, although it was quite long. We walked around Crawley for a bit, then we drove down to Brighton Marina and had a lovely dinner at Pizza Express. We went for a walk around the marina and looked at the boats and the fishermen. We also made a brief stop into David Lloyd to use the facilities. Then we drove up to Brighton Racecourse for the free Renault drive in film, True Romance. The film was good, but we were quite a long way from the screen, and sitting in the car wasn't as comfortable as sitting on our sofa. We drove back along the coast through Brighton, where the streets were still full of people celebrating the Pride event from earlier in the day. And then we were home!

Sunday was a quieter day, I managed to do a lot of planning for our holiday to Canada in September, which was very productive. We also went to the gym so that Ram could watch Coventry's opening game on Sky. And we made up a route for our Wedding Venue visiting trip to Warwick next weekend.
